Balance your chakras with healing crystals
Crystal healing is a holistic, natural, non-invasive therapy using crystals and minerals that promote balancing the body and the mind for an improved quality of life.
The universe is made up of energy. Everything (like our body) has its own specific vibrational frequency determined by its molecular composition. Crystals, which have been formed in nature over billions of years, are known for their unique properties.
It is believed that every crystal has a special internal structure capable of interacting with the body’s natural energy frequency.
Crystal healing is a therapy that involves tapping into these unique properties of crystals and using them to balance the energy flow in our body, and thus gently support the body in healing and restoring itself.
The following are some of the most common questions we often receive from our clients who seek crystal healing therapy services.
Crystal Healing Therapy – FAQ
What to expect in a natural crystal healing therapy session?
Though crystal healing may sound a little far-fetched initially, if you are interested in exploring new possibilities and are open to new ideas, it may help in improving your health and wellness approach.
Not all sessions are the same. When you book a session, a crystal therapist usually consults with you to take into account your needs, and concerns.
During this consultation, the therapist may ask you questions to obtain a clear idea of your health (physical, emotional, and spiritual). Then, they may inform you about which crystals would work best for you and the ways in which they can be used to derive the most benefits.
When the session begins, the crystal healing therapist may gently and precisely place various crystals on your body (as you rest comfortably, fully clothed, and with your eyes closed on a specialized mat or a platform). Then, some crystals will be aligned with different chakras (energy centers) of your body.
The objective is to make you feel focused, relaxed, and rejuvenated by utilizing the purifying powers of crystals. You can expect to notice immediate differences after the session (i.e., you may feel calmer) but results may also take time to show up, and they vary from person to person.
When the session is complete, the crystals will be removed. Some participants may experience certain sensations, such as tingling, a feeling of warmth, and vibrations while some do not report having any kinds of sensations. This doesn’t affect the process or the effectiveness in any way.
What is crystal healing therapy used for?
Crystal healing therapy has been used as an effective alternative technique to provide health and protection for centuries and across cultures. Many people use crystals for reducing stress, increasing focus, and clarity, and channeling their inner positivity, while others have found it beneficial for healing physical illnesses like chronic pain. Using crystals in a nurturing way we can realign our chakras while creating a balance in the body and in life.
How do healing stones help with anxiety?
Several crystals have calming energy that works for people suffering from sleep problems, stress, restlessness, and anxiety.
Amethyst, rose quartz, black tourmaline and moonstone are some of the best crystals for anxiety as they add calming energy to your mind and soul, alleviating the tension that one may have.
How do I recharge my crystals?
If you have healing stones at home, you must cleanse and restore their natural state by recharging them on a regular basis. The act of care itself promotes well-being. There are many effective methods to cleanse and recharge crystals. However, keep in mind that not all of them should be cleansed the same way. It depends on their structure and color.
Hard stones, such as amethyst, quartz, and turquoise can be rinsed with running water (by holding each stone under a tap for one minute). Sunlight or moonlight can be used for many tumbled crystals. To do this, generally, you need to leave them in the daylight for an hour.
But avoid leaving soft stones outside in the sun, such as halite, celestite, and selenite can be damaged by bad weather. Also, remember that bright colorful crystals can fade if exposed to sunlight for too long. Moonlight is also preferred as a safe cleansing and recharging method.
When in doubt, please consult a crystal healing therapist to have specific instructions regarding your crystals.
What’s the luckiest crystal?
Some of the best healing stones and crystals include tiger’s eye, citrine, clear quartz, garnet, amethyst, smoky quartz, green jade, malachite, bloodstone, turquoise, peridot, garnet, and jasper.
Every healing crystal has its own unique properties and powers. For example, rose quartz and ruby encourage love, trust and attraction so they are considered healing stones of love. On the other hand, tiger’s eye, jade, yellow sapphire and turquoise are known to attract wealth and abundance. If you want to improve health, bloodstone and amethyst may work wonders (e.g., in promoting better sleep, enhancing endurance and strength).
For this reason, a natural healing crystal therapy should be personalized and conducted by a certified holistic practitioner to suit individual requirements.

What do you call someone who works with crystals?
A qualified crystal healing practitioner, also known as a crystal healing therapist or crystal healer is one who has experience in channeling energy through the healing stones as a complementary therapy/holistic practice.
Not to be confused with a crystallographer who examines crystal forms of materials, anything from salt to gemstones.
These two are different fields.
What are the 7 types of crystals?
The seven crystal systems are a way of classifying crystals into seven categories based on their structure: triclinic, monoclinic, orthorhombic, tetragonal, trigonal, hexagonal, and cubic.
- Triclinic: Axinite, kyanite, and turquoise are some minerals that fall in the triclinic system.
- Monoclinic: Azurite, moonstone, jade, and selenite are some examples of the monoclinic crystal system.
- Orthorhombic: Topaz, cerussite, and enargite belong to the orthorhombic system.
- Tetragonal: Some minerals that fall in the tetragonal system are apophyllite, idocrase, scapolite, and zircon.
- Trigonal: Ruby and sapphire are both trigonal system crystals.
- Hexagonal: Aquamarine, beryl, cancrinite, and emerald are hexagonal in structure.
- Cubic: Diamond, fluorite, gold, and silver all belong to the cubic crystal system.
Which crystals should not be mixed?
One should be careful while choosing crystal combinations and pairings. Some crystals or gemstones should not be used together.
Do not mix Carnelian and Amethyst. Carnelian crystal charges up a person’s energy level, while amethyst crystal promotes serenity and calm. So, they do not go well with each other. Similarly, a clear quartz and a green aventurine do not pair well because of differences in vibrations. Saturnian stones (e.g., blue sapphire) should not be paired with the stones of the sun (e.g., natural ruby) and the moon (e.g., pearl).
Only an expert crystal healing practitioner who has a clear foundational knowledge of crystals will know how they can affect the body and mind.

What is crystal healing face therapy?
Crystal healing face therapy is a special type of facial massage. A crystal healer usually applies light moisturizer/oil and gently massages your face while holding onto some crystals on some parts of the face (like the forehead). This combination of skincare and crystal healing therapy can treat puffiness, tiredness, and dullness of the face. By getting rid of toxins and releasing stress the face can glow with natural radiance.
